Office 2013 Shortcuts
You may have noticed that all on-campus computers have been upgraded to Office 2013. While the interface is up-to-date and the new features are great, you might noticed that some of your old shortcuts no longer work. Clicking on an old shortcut might result in an error like this:
If this happens, you can still open Office software through the Start Menu. You can also create new shortcuts to save on your Desktop, in your Taskbar, etc. Here are the steps for how:
- Click on the Start Button, then click on All Programs
- Find and click on the "Microsoft Office 2013" folder. Then right-click on the desired program. A menu will appear. Click "Copy."
- On your desktop, right-click anywhere in an empty space. Another menu will appear. Click "Paste shortcut"
Then you're done!
